This is an outfit my Mom made for Lilia. I wore a similar outfit when I was little. The fabric is the same! I was surprised at the baby shower to get a gift with no name. It was in a gift bag that had been made for Lilia because her name was on it. I should have recognized my Mom's handy work but I was not expecting it. I pull out this jumper and I am so surprised. I told everyone that I wore an outfit made out of this fabric when I was a child. I wanted to know who the giver was. Momma (Asher's Mother) said I should know. Then it hit me...the bag...the fabric...had to be my Mom! What a fun surprise! It is a little big for her. I had to see her wear it! Thanks Mom! I love you! My parents live out of state. I miss them a lot. I am excited to see them soon.

Napping...Still!?
Okay, I should not complain. She does this every month or so. Did she find a comfy sleeping spot? Good dream? Really tired?(She did not seem to be too tired this morning)
Question: Should I wake her or let her sleep? 4 hour nap is a long nap!

Perilla Plant and Gaenip Kimchi
I have posted about this in the past. This is my favorite kimchi! Yummy! It is not spicy hot like cabbage kimchi.
I planted the perilla seeds and have had a good time making and eating Gaenip Kimchi. Perilla is from the basil family. This is the only really harvest I had this year. My green pepper plant produced two small green peppers and I got a handful of cherrie tomatoes.
I am hoping Asher makes fried rice and kimchi and I will enjoy a yummy Korean meal. Asher does not care for Gaenip kimchi and so I do not have to share! :)

Napping
Lilia has been off her nap schedule since we went to Utah (beginning of September). She is getting back to two naps a day. Yeah!

Little Boy
Some back ground: church is sort of behind the Electronic Express. We cut through a parking lot to get to church.
On our way to church we saw a little boy outside of Electronic Express walking away from the store on the side walk with no adults around. He looked to be about 18 months or so. He was walking away with his cute little pacifier in his mouth just having a great time. I made Asher unlock the van and stop. I got out. He pulled around through the parking lot and waited. I noticed when I got out that a man in a wheel chair had left the store and was getting in his car. I am guessing he had used the automatic door opener and left the store and the little boy went right behind him. He did not notice till I got to the little boy. I took the boy by the hand. He was so cute! I walked the little boy to the store thinking this is a good place to start. A lady in another car who saw me stopped and was concerned. I got through the door and the little boy was recognized. "How did you get out?", was the response from the man (looked like grandpa). I was not looking for thanks or anything but some appreciation would have been nice or some more concern for the little boy. The man in the wheel chair and the lady in the car were pleased that all worked out well. I am very thankful I got to the little boy before he wondered to far or into traffic. You never know what will happen on the way to church. :)

7 Months
Lilia is amazing! We are so happy. She is such a joy and is learning things everyday. I don't feel like it has been seven months. She is very determined young lady! She wants to be in the middle of the action. She will reach as far as she can for a toy and then manage to reach even farther. She is 19 lbs. Everyone wants to touch those adorable cheeks. We are so blessed.

Things Lilia Can Do
Lilia is sitting up and she reaches forward with her hands and ends up on her stomach and knees.
She can sit in the grocery cart and play. She loves looking around and this makes shopping easier for Mom.
Pulling up on anything she can reach. So far this has been her crib, changing table, play gym, and some larger toys. Some times she only can get to her knees but others times she has gone all the way to feet!
She has been holding her sippy cup but not the bottle. Now she will hold her bottle when she wants too. The angle has to be corrected but she loves holding the bottle.
She is growing so fast. Her 6 month check up was a little later than we normally go because of our trip to Utah.
18.5 lbs
26.5 inches long
The Doctor said she was looking great. She was amazing with her shots. Delayed crying and calmed down when I held her. She slept most of the day.

A Plum, a Plane, a Porch and a Panda
We are at the airport getting ready to leave for SLC. We packed some fruit for us and Lilia. Lilia decided she would share her peach with daddy. The airport has play areas for kids. She loved the bright colors and she test pilot a plane. We are staying with my brother and his family. We tried out the panda rocker. she was not sure about it. We are having a great time.
