"Everywhere in nature we are taught the lessons of patience and waiting. We want things a long time before we get them, and the fact that we wanted them a long time makes them all the more precious when they come." Joseph F. Smith

Hospital here we come!
We are on the road to the hospital. Lilia is a big sister! Elayna has been born. 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long! We are so excited and blessed!
Update
I know everyone has questions. I am going to try and answer a few.
Tuesday, 4th around 10 am we found out that a birth mom, Lizzie had chosen us and that she is here in TN. A friend of the family got to give the news to me (Mary). I was stunned, I think I screamed for joy and then crying. After I got some information from Mary (agency rep) I messaged Asher because I knew he was in a meeting. I told him to call me that I had good news. He called! He was so happy. I then called our parents to let them know. We did not know what Lizzie was having, boy or girl? Asher and I are excited and so happy with either. Lizzie sent her ultra sound picture with Mary and we met at the chiropractor's office. We then found out that pink will be the color! It's a girl! We are excited. Mary took pictures. We got to talk a little and got Lizzie's info so we could contact her. We talked with Lizzie a while later. It was great to hear her voice and to see how she was doing. Late that night (10 pm) we got a call that she was headed to the hospital. We were almost ready and got on our way. We got a call later that Lizzie was sent home. She is due Jan 30th. I think the baby has other ideas! :)
So, now we wait and pray for Lizzie. We have not decided on a name yet. We are amazed at Lizzie's strength and love.
Update: Today at 1:45 ish (pm) Elayna arrived! We are headed to the hospital. No other details yet.
*writers note, This is not complete but some things are better placed in a private journal which I wrote down last night.

Wait!
We are heading back home. She is not coming quite yet! Keep Lizzie and the baby in your prayers!
Hospital here we come!
We are on our way to the hospital. Lilia was sad but she is with Grandma and Grandpa. Hope we get there in time. More news soon!
It's a Girl!
We found out this morning at 9:56 AM that a birth mom had chosen us. This afternoon we found out the baby will be a girl. We are so excited! We got to talk to Lizzie and she is amazing! Lilia will be an awesome sister.
Outside!
We have been outside twice today. It is not too cold if you are in the sun. She loves being outside. We came out to see the neighbors dog but he was already inside. Lil' loves dogs. Lil' can swing by herself but getting off the swing can be a trick for her. She loves the slide and is not afraid. She even hung on the rings. I was ready to catch her.
We are having a great day!

Playing with Aunt Lin
They had a great time stacking measuring cups, knocking them over and putting them on their heads!
We have had a great week with all the family visiting.

This is not the exact recipe my sister in law, Amy used but close. I think I like hers better.

Forts
Forts! Aunt Jenelle built a fort for the girls. Lil's bed makes a great fort. They played and read books. They had a great time. Fort building is one of my favorite memories from my childhood. My mom let us turn the living room and dinning room into huge forts. Hence, I have a basket of old sheets for this reason downstairs with the toys.
