Cutter Ladies

Girls decided they want to cut paper with scissors. This is Elayna's first time really cutting with scissors. I gave them the "only cut paper speech".  I told Lilia if Elayna cuts her hair and if she helps then she will have short hair as well. Lilia wants long hair. We should be good, hopefully. If not well lesson will be learned. I am checking on them.

Reading Library Books on bed

I caught girls reading their library books on my bed. They were so quiet I thought I was going to find a mess. Love these girls.

Darling Red Dress

A friend gave me this beautiful red dress. Elayna was so adorable. She is starting to let me take her picture again.

Happy Birthday Grandpa

"My Grandpa" Elayna said. She wanted to be in his lap. She helped blow out his candles. Happy Birthday Grandpa! We are blessed to be near grandparents.

Dancer and Singer

Okay, she is growing up too fast. She loves to dance, sing and help mommy. She is a talker and has much to say. You like your hair to lay flat. You still let us rock you at night. Lilia you are wearing 6-7 T clothes, 12 in shoes. You are getting your six year old molars. You continue to have leg cramps at night. You are very polite and use good manners.

On Sunday my girls gave mommy a nap. They piled all their pillows, blankets and stuffed animals on top of me. They sang me a lullaby. In the song Lilia told me to close my eyes, she would watch over me, she called it her "mommy lullaby". They were so cute. I kept peeking. They would insist I close my eyes and sleep.

Pixie Dust....Elayna

This morning the girls were playing with their princesses and fairies. I changed Elayna and got her dressed for the day. She picked out a long sleeve shirt and a long summer dress. Elayna then decided that she should be able to fly because the dress had a collar on it. She jumped in the air expecting to fly but of course she did not.  She then informs me that she need pixie dust. I asked her where we would find pixie dust.  She said "downstairs".

I think she's watched too much Jake and the Neverland Pirates and fairy movies.

Loved the moment, well spent.

Water Color Painting

Elayna loves painting. She painted 3 pictures while I cooked dinner. Lilia joined the fun later. Great activity for everyone.

Funny Things.....

Santa Claus brought Lilia pink cowgirl boots. Elayna got black glittery boots. Lilia's ballet teacher asked her about her boots. Lilia told her they are "horse boots". I asked Lilia on the way home why she calls them that. She said, "because there are horse thingies on the back of the shoes".

Today the girls took a nap. Before Elayna fell asleep she told me about boogers. She said they were her boogers not mine. She told me she eats them, yumm.  I told her we don't eat boogers, yucky. She had me laughing.

These two girls keep me smiling and laughing.

Happy Birthday Elayna! 3 years old

Minnie Mouse was the theme for the party. She got a dress up Minnie Mouse dress from Belinda months ago and loves wearing it. We had gluten and milk free chocolate cake. Ice cream was vanilla, mango and raspberry flavors to choose from. Aunt Annie, Uncle Derek, Aunt Lauren, Grandma and Grandpa R all celebrated with you. Grandma H helped make your cake earlier in week but had to head back home before party.
Elayna you are out going, friendly and loves cuddles. You can play by yourself or play with your sister. You are not potty trained, yet. You could be a big girl because you know how. You are wearing size 3T clothing, 7-8 size shoes and size 5 diaper but soon to be 3T panties.
You speak in full sentences. You use please and thank you when talking to others. Your smile melts hearts and your eyes sparkle. You stick your tongue out when concentrating/working just like daddy. We love you so much. You are our little sunshine. Every morning you say, "Good Morning Mommy".  You insist on praying all by yourself with no help. Happy Birthday to Elayna!

Sledding with Mommy

After the visit to the dentist we headed to see daddy at work. We them went home and added on more layers and jackets. We had a great time playing. Again only played for few minutes. They had a great time sledding.
