"Everywhere in nature we are taught the lessons of patience and waiting. We want things a long time before we get them, and the fact that we wanted them a long time makes them all the more precious when they come." Joseph F. Smith

Painting Pumpkins
Elayna and Lilia have been begging to get pumpkins to paint and decorate. We went shopping and found pumpkins! They were so excited. They still are excited.

Apple Pie
I made apple pie for the girls for dessert. Lilia is studying apples at school. The pie was delicious and house smells great! I canned the apple pie filling in 2008 with a great friend. It was still very good.

Dentist: No Cavities!
The girls have gone with me to our dentist since they were babies. They are great and know how to work everything. They were all smiles and no cavities.

Made her Bed!
Elayna made her bed all by herself. She decided where all her stuffed animals would go etc. In her Sunbeam class at church they talked about a Job Jar. She is now sweeping the floor. Yeah!
Thank you Sister Klotter!

Dying Cow
Set stage....
Asher heads outside to the porch to practice the trumpet. Elayna follows. She asks him if she can play. He says, "Just a minute, it's not working." She says, "Are you bringing in a dying cow?"
Few minutes later...she says, "Is it still a dying cow?"
Asher laughing. Keep practicing Asher.
He let her play.

Bunkbed with history
I decided Saturday morning to set bunkbed up.
The girls slept in their "new" bunkbed.
Lilia said, "being higher helps her sleep." Elayna woke up at 6:30 am to go potty and then got back in bed and told daddy "there are no stars out". Our previous house we had stars on ceiling. When I asked her how we would get stars on ceiling she mentioned daddy's ladder.

They loved sleeping on the bunkbed.
Some history:
My dad made this bed about time my youngest brother was born or soon after. I slept on it as a teenager and Nathan on bottom bunk. My great grandma A. sept on bottom bunk. The bunkbed is 30 years old. My parents brought it to me in their van at the other house and helped set it up. We took it apart. This time setting it up was a lot more work. :)
