Elayna 5th Birthday

Elayna we are happy you are in our  family. We love you very much. Height  is 42.25 inches. Weight is 41 lbs. You are wearing size 5 clothes. Eleven size shoes. You love playing with My Little Pony figurines, legos, puzzles, painting, coloring and all your stuffed animals. You give us smiles, hugs and kisses. You love playing with your sister and friends.

Christmas Sugar Cookies

The girls wanted to make sugar cookies. They had so much fun. Two pans of cookies! They had a lot of fun and even helped me clean up.

Mix:
1 1/2 C sugar
1 C coconut oil
3 eggs
1 tsp lemon/almond extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
4 1/2 C flour ( I used only 4 C)

Chill dough, bake 350 degrees for 9 minutes.

Alternative: Chocolate Sugar Cookies
3/4 C cocoa powder
1/2 C brown sugar
Omit lemon extract

Story Time with Daddy

The girls love daddy reading to them. He is great with girls.
Almost ready for bed time for two little girls.

School Pictures (Fall)

Here are the Fall school pictures:

 I took Elayna's picture and it turned out great!  I got a print for the wall.  Now need to print some for grandma's!!

Lilia did a great job for her first grade pictures.

Many Faces of Lilia

We played with camera tonight and took some crazy pictures. She makes me laugh! We could have taken twenty more. She did not want to stop.

Painting Pumpkins

Elayna and Lilia have been begging to get pumpkins to paint and decorate. We went shopping and found pumpkins! They were so excited. They still are excited.

Apple Pie

I made apple pie for the girls for dessert. Lilia is studying apples at school. The pie was delicious  and house smells great! I canned the apple pie filling in 2008 with a great friend. It was still very good.
*I cheated and purchased store bought crust in the refrigerator section. Makes things so easy. 

Gymnastics: Elayna

Elayna loves gymnastics. She is learning  a lot and has fun with her friends.

Dentist: No Cavities!

The girls have gone with me to our dentist since they were babies. They are great and know how to work everything. They were all smiles and no cavities.
