Windows and Mirrors

Lilia loves windows and mirrors. I got this picture with my camera phone. She is fascinated by the other person in the mirror. The piano pictures sometimes catch her reflection as well. I think she sees herself. I wish I knew what she was thinking!

Sears Portrait Pictures! 9 Months and Family

We had our family pictures taken today. Sears did a great job. Lilia was a little tired (nap time). If you look closely you can see her bottom teeth.

9 Months

We decided that she looked so cute in her PJ's to do her month pictures.
She is 21.3 lbs and growing tall. She can reach the piano keys! She has 2.5 teeth on the bottom and .5 on top.
We had family pictures taken today at Sears and will post those later.

Pink Baby!

Okay, here she is in her car seat and jacket on. It is getting cold here. She does not like wearing socks or shoes.

First Pony Tail in My Hair

Okay, I know it is small and the bow hides the pony tail. She still has one! She has not grabbed at her hair yet.

Nap Time!

Lilia went down for her nap and woke up 30 minutes later! Back to sleep in her favorite spot...me! She will be 9 months on Friday. Lilia I love you so much. I love holding your hand and helping you walk. I love how you reach for me. I smile every time you grab my legs when cooking. You look so cute with broccoli and spaghetti all over your face, hands and body. I love making you laugh by doing silly things and making silly sounds. I am amazed at how fast you learn things and hope I can keep up. I love being your mommy. Thanks!

Morning nap in my PJ's

On sunday it is easier to keep me in my pj's before church. Don't want to mess up my church dress! I got a good morning nap in and so did Mommy!

Toes

Lilia has cute feet and toes. I know I am biased but I am the Mom! She curves them around different things depending on what she is doing. Crawling, climbing over Daddy, and her blanket are a few of the things she uses her cute toes to her advantage.

Taking a stroll in my PJ's!

Lilia takes the loop in our house using the pink walking stroller. She can not steer. You have to push with your foot the stroller to keep from running into furniture. She babbles the entire time she is walking. So cute and gets her tired.

Morning Practice with Daddy!

Daddy loves seeing Lilia before going to work. Now that she wakes up after 7 am he can spend some time with her. They had a great time playing the piano.

ABC Gospel Book

I saw this at church. I only got a glimpse. I searched the internet and found the book in pdf format. I had sheet protectors (6x6) purchased on sale. The trick was to get the page that size. After a little tinkering I figured it out. Printed it in color. I did not want to color anything. Another reason I liked this idea. A little bit of trimming and the book is almost done. Need to add some photos and we have a book for Christmas!
I will post the link: The Idea Door

Messy but Yummy!

Lilia loves picking up her own food and eating. She had spaghetti tonight. The noodles would escape her and she would try again. She would not let me feed her. She had jello yesterday and Aunt Annie got her to eat from a spoon. Tonight I tried using a spoon to feed her jello but she did not open her mouth. It was very funny! The pictures are a little blurry, sorry. She had a great time eating!

Help! I got stuck.

Lilia is moving around and going places. Up to this point she stayed near me. She is branching out now and finding exciting places. This morning she crawled under the piano and kept hitting her head when sitting under the piano bench. She complained that she could not sit up. She was looking out the dinning room windows when I went to the kitchen. I heard some complaining and found her under the table and stuck. She is so much fun!

Looking Outside

Lilia found this side window all by herself. She tapped on the window and had a great time playing. She now crawls over things (leg, toys, blankets). She loves scrambled eggs. She pulls up on anything she can find. Plays in her crib when she wakes up.

Best Toy......Newspaper!

Lilia is attracted to newspaper. She loves playing with them. She has figured out she can slide on the carpet with the ads section! We have to watch her because eventually she decides to taste it. Then we clean hands and find a different distraction. In this picture she found the newspaper pile at grandma's house. She had the best time playing and was fun to watch her play.
(I loved kleenex when I was her age. We have video of me pulling out kleenex.)

Aunt Annie

We love Aunt Annie! Annie helped watch Lilia at our Halloween Party (yes, it is after Halloween). We were outside with the pinata and Lilia watched from the window with Annie. Annie brought her down for a few minutes so she could see. Lilia fell asleep for Annie while eating. When she touched the crib she woke up. A huge thank you to Aunt Annie!

Playing in the leaves!

I took Lilia outside to play in the leaves. She did not know what to think. This was definitely different. I gave her the yellow leaf and brought her inside. She loved playing with it. She tore it apart and then decided to taste it. I caught her before she got it in her mouth. I love the fall and all the colors! This is the view from our front window.
