"Everywhere in nature we are taught the lessons of patience and waiting. We want things a long time before we get them, and the fact that we wanted them a long time makes them all the more precious when they come." Joseph F. Smith
This is our main bath tub. The girls love taking a bath. Elayna is eyeing the tub waiting for bath time. Daddy stacked the cups you see in the tub. He makes me smile, the order of the cups and the way he stacked them.
The family went to a baseball game. We had a great time. We had hot dogs, cotton candy, and popcorn. Aunt Annie is the only one not pictured. It was Mormon night and so we saw friends from everywhere. It was great to see all the missionaries. Lilia loved dancing and swinging between the chairs in the rows. Elayna ate cotton candy and had a great time sitting on everyone's lap. I love Lilia's hair, she let me fix her hair!
My Lillies are growing but a little late for Easter. We had a great walk. Elayna figured out she has a shadow. She kept trying to touch her shadow and running after her shadow. We love going for walks. Elayna picks clover flowers as well and tries to blow on them. I think she thinks they are dandelions. Lilia loves showing her sister everything she finds. I love my girls.
This morning Lilia went to the potty and went. I was helping her wipe. She told me "I only went a tidge" and held up her fingers showing me. I asked her who told you that word, "Grandma". Lilia makes us smile all the time.
Lilia helped me color the back of a letter to her birth mom. We love her birth mom very much and try and write her every month. I love the look of concentration on her face. Elayna got in on the action as well.
Grandma was in charge of a primary activity for church. We went and English was not spoken but Spanish. I think it confused Lilia a little bit but grandma and grandpa spoke to her in English here and there. Daddy helped cook the hot dogs. Lilia and Elayna played games with the other children. Lilia tried the three legged race and had fun. Lilia got to hit the pinata as well. Elayna helped grandpa with set up of the pinata. We had a great time. Aunt Annie came and help me feed the girls.
