Four Months Old

Lilia is four months old.
15.9 lbs.
25.25 inches
She can roll from her stomach to her back. She loves to smile and laugh. She grabs anything you put near her. She loves to see what is going on around her. She loves to stand. She has this sound she makes when she wants your attention, almost a cough but it is not. First picture is of her dressed up for church. Second picture is waiting at the doctors office. They are very good to Lilia. Last picture it to show her band aids. Shots are no fun! She handles it well and calmed down quickly.

Lilia's First Baseball Game

Here is Lilia holding her pink bat and ball. We have kept her cool with water and she loves ice! It was 97 F here at the field. We have eaten hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream! We have drunk a lot of water. To top it off we are eating popcorn! What a great night. We are also winning!

Pajamas!

I don't have a lot of picture in my pajamas! Here are a few. I love my pajamas!

Lilia is a good sleeper. She has a bath at night and then gets ready for bed. Sometimes she is tired and other times we wait and play some more. I have been putting her in her crib before she is asleep and she has been falling asleep on her own. Yeah!

Chocolate Cake in a Pot

This is half a chocolate cake mix and a can of cherry topping. You put the cherries in the bottom of the pot and then mix half the cake mix with two eggs and add water till you get a spreadable mix. No oil added! Cook on low heat with lid on pot for 30 minutes. When done invert on to plate. Need a new kind of cookware to cook a cake in a pot! I love it!

Gaenip Kimchi! Yummy!

After many internet searches I found one of my favorite Korean plants. You can buy it canned at Asian stores but it is not the same and I don't know everything they put into the dish. The plant is called Perilla. I purchased the seeds from http://www.kitazawaseed.com/ and they specialize in Asian vegetables. A great website. My first harvest was today. Made a soy, red pepper, garlic sauce and then washed the leaves and the coated them with the sauce and stacked them on top of each other. Finished product goes in the fridge and then tonight I can enjoy rice with my Gaenip Kimchi. I am so excited! When we lived in Seoul we lived with a Korean family. The wife taught me many things. I want to thank her for this recipe. Thanks Suk-young Kim!

Tummy Time...Again!

I know she must be thinking this when I place her on her tummy. Lilia loves looking at the colorful quilt. She gets tired of being on her tummy and starts grunting. She is grabbing things when she is on her back. She arches her back when she wants to be picked up or when she gets frustrated. We love he so much.

Toys

Lilia is starting to figure out what toys are about. She loves looking at the colors and enjoys the sounds. She is starting to grab them and pick them up. It surprises her when she drops them and they bonk her. What are toys about? Well, Lilia thinks they are to be put in her mouth! Yummy! The toy in the picture is one of her favorites. She has another toy that has a part that you can pull and then it retracts and vibrates. She loves to pull and then her arm vibrates all the way up. I have this one on her car seat to keep her occupied while shopping. Toys are so much fun!

Create

I was browsing the church website and found this video on the Relief Society page. This is the womens group for our church. I need to check out the website more often. Lots of new things and very inspirational! I need to start thinking differently and remember that I create something everyday. What I chose to create is up to me. Hope you enjoy.

Many Faces in CAMO

Here is Lilia in her Camo. The front has a red wagon and the text says, "My First SUV". The back has more lace and a black bow! I never thought she would be in Camo. She looks cute! We are so thankful for all the service men and women who protect our freedoms to live the way we want and believe.
