"Everywhere in nature we are taught the lessons of patience and waiting. We want things a long time before we get them, and the fact that we wanted them a long time makes them all the more precious when they come." Joseph F. Smith

Oreo Cookie
Here is Elayna's first keep cookie. She wanted to put the entire cookie in her mouth. She had a great time eating and loved the cookie. The faces she made were very cute. She did not let go or drop this cookie.

Lagoon
We had a great day at Lagoon. We rode a few rides and Lilia followed her cousins. She went on some big kid rides. She was tall enough by 1 inch. She had to be 36 inches tall. We then at lunch. Then headed for the water. The water and the lazy river were her favorite. She then rode on the swings. She did not like the helicopter ride because it was loud. She fell asleep after the ride in daddy's arms and took a nap for two hours. When she got up she rode in the cars and swinged a couple of times.
Elayna took two naps and was happy to be held. She did not like the water at first because it was cold.

Day in the Clouds/Beach!
I tried this recipe and it is a lot of fun. Brought back memories of the beach for me and Lilia loved playing in it. I made a double batch. Lilia played for almost an hour! Wish I could say I got something done (played with her, so I guess that is something)! I recommend putting a sheet or plastic table clothe under the bowl or bin. I dumped the cloud dough back into the bin that was on the table clothe. We will see how long the cloud dough lasts. We smell like baby oil. A big thanks to pre-schoolplay.blogspot.com

Banana Muffins with a Crunch Recipe - Allrecipes.com
Made this for breakfast Saturday morning. Lil' helped me make them. She loves to dump the ingredients and stir. She put the baking cups in the muffin tin. She placed the banana chips on top of muffins as well. She proudly told daddy she helped. They were yummy.
Makes 24 muffins. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes.
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
