Learning Time

Lilia loves puzzles. My mom sent this puzzle to us. I think my brothers used these puzzles when they were little.
I helped her with the first one. I kept Elayna busy while she tried the second one. Encouragement is all she needed. Great job Lilia!

Drawing and after church pictures!

Lilia loves to draw. Mommy drew the picture on the left and Lilia drew the one on the right. I labeled them when she told me who they were. I am not the best artist but try. After church I took Lilia's picture. I altered this dress. The dress had white lace around the collar/neck and on the sleeves. Lilia refused to wear the dress. I found some pretty ribbon and added it to the waist and took off the old white lace. She loves her dress now. I think it looks fabulous and was an easy update. Now I am looking for 2T green or black dress for Elayna so I can update it. Then we have dresses for Christmas!

Library and play outside....

After story time we headed outside to play. We learned to share a ball, sort of, hugged a tree, played with the fence and had a great time. Next time we are bringing a ball and packing a lunch.

Elayna 19 Months

Yep, I took pictures but did not post. Elayna did not want to sit still. She loves the toy in last picture. The key is her favorite part. I think she is going to be an Engineer. Also doing more things with her left hand.

Just Like Daddy

Lilia falls asleep pretty quick if you can get her to slow down. Daddy is the same way.

Elayna 20 Months

We love you so much. This is a little late...
You are wearing size 18 month pants and 24 month tops and dresses. I thought we could go up in diaper size but nope, 4 fits best. Shoes are size 6. You love to swing and slide. You climb and reach for everything. You follow your older sister around and try everything she does. You copy words we say and will repeat words. Your favorite words are: No, Mine, Tickle tickle, Up, more, down, dog, cat, and Eeyore.  You don't like too much food in your mouth. You don't like soft mushy foods. High acidic foods don't agree with your tushy. You love to sing, dance and dress up with your sister.
We love you so much!

Lunch: Before and After

We went grocery shopping with grandma. We had a great time and got pumpkins to decorate.

This was lunch after shopping:
Bean and avacado tortillas
Grapes
Cucumbers
Cherry Tomatoes
Carrot sticks

Lilia ate everything on her pink plate plus more grapes and cucumbers.
Elayna ate her grapes, beans and avacado on the orange plate. She did not eat her cherry tomatoes or carrot stick. Elayna did not have tortilla because she does not eat it.
They did a great job eating!
I ate all my food as well. :)

Pre Fiesta

I decided to take few pictures before the party. Sometimes I never get pictures of my girls once the party starts. Elayna would not hold still. I know her "cheesy" grin is not in focus. Lilia now holds still and poses for the camera. I love these two beautiful girls!

Fiesta

We went to a fiesta with grandma. We had a lot of fun. Lilia stuck to grandma almost the whole night. Elayna danced, loved on grandma and wandered around looking at everything. I loved all the food and tried to keep my eyes on Elayna. We are always made to feel welcome and treated so kindly.

New Night Gowns

I showed Lilia the princes fabric and she loved it! I got it on sale years ago. I made a pattern and quickly sewed. Only one alteration and then we were done. The neck elastic needs to be tighter. Next ones will be perfect! They wore them to bed last night. Lilia said I need to make a night gown for me!
