The girls finished their summer reading! They each got a certificate, a free book (they picked out) and one free admission to some fun places around town. Ms. Katie is great and the kids love her. We enjoy going to story time and the library every week.
"Everywhere in nature we are taught the lessons of patience and waiting. We want things a long time before we get them, and the fact that we wanted them a long time makes them all the more precious when they come." Joseph F. Smith

Zoo Trip
Rain has been the constant here. We went to Home Depot and built a car. Grandma and grandpa came. We decided to go to McD's for lunch. The kids ate well. Here are three of the minions waiting for lunch. We headed to the zoo. The rain stayed away. The walk ways were a little slippery, mud puddles were minimal and kids had a great time together. The animals were out because the weather was perfect.
Painting Nails with Aunt Annie
Annie painted a lot of cute toes. The girls took turns and had a great time. They love and adore Aunt Annie.
Swimming with Friends and Cousins
We are blessed to have friends who invite us to swim and cook out. The kids swam and ate dinner. Hot dogs and water melon were the favorites. They played hard and slept well.
Sisters Playing and Sleeping
Sisters play and sleep together. We went swimming for about an hour. Lilia is doing great. She swims anywhere in the pool. We spent a lot of time jumping off the diving board.Elayna goes under the water, kicks and can hold on to the side. If she fell into the pool she would not get out very well. This is the one area we need to work on. Elayna jumps off the diving board as well with her floats. She does go under but pops back up. They played hard and got tired swimming. Daddy took us to dinner. At bedtime Elayna was sleeping next to Lilia but she got even closer to her when she fell asleep! They are so cute!
