What's for dinner?

Hmm, what do I want to cook for dinner? I go through this every time. Some nights are easier than others. I like trying new things.

CURRIED CHICKEN BAKE
1/2 c. cornmeal
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. curry powder
1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken, cut up
1/4 c. butter, melted
Combine cornmeal, brown sugar, curry powder. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brush each chicken piece with butter. Roll in cornmeal mix to coat. Arrange chicken skin side up and so pieces don't touch in shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining corn mix. Bake uncovered in 375 degree oven for 50 minutes or until tender. Do not turn. 6 servings.

Here is a picture of the Curried Chicken Bake. It does not look very good but tasted great. It is similar to breaded chicken. The corn meal makes it crisp.

Asher made the Stir Fry. I love this stir fry. I like my vegetables to be crisp and they always are when Asher cooks.

I have a lot of fun trying new recipes but if the dish does not turn out how I see it in my head then I don't like the dish. Asher loved the dish and so I tried to change my thinking.
Hope you enjoy Dinner!

Amy,

I have checked your blog periodically, and it is so good to see that you are still alive. It is definitely wierd at school without you, but I am so glad that you are taking some time for yourself. I'll talk to you soon. Thanks for the recipe.

I absolutely LOVE cooking and trying new recipes. I am a little unsure of curry powder. It never turns out when I use it... But I am going to have to try it! Pioneer Woman (a link is on my blog) has a lot of fun recipes that I love to try! I am glad to see a new post too!!

Sorry, I just realized I spelled "site" wrong. I really do know how to spell that :)
Too much going on in my life right now.
