I had everything ready for Lil' to color while I was on a phone call and she did not color but climbed all over me. She later decided to color and hum a tune. I love how I got her reflection in the mirror.

Water Colors
Lil' loves to paint. We had a great time painting. I think she likes to clean her brush because of the water. I try and remember to only have the amount of water I am willing to clean up. Therefore very little water in the cup.
The girls are on different nap times, one of them is always awake. I trying to look at the situation as I have some one on one time with each of them. :)

Beans from my Garden
I grew up with a garden and love to eat from a garden. My parents are great gardeners, but I am not. I am still learning how to get plants to grow--water helps. Here is my second batch of green beans. They turn green when you cook them. I also picked a nice helping of perilla leaves for gaenip kimchi. The corn is taller than me!
Teething Biscuit
This is the second time Elayna has had a teething biscuit. She devoured it this time. Her face was covered and it took some scrubbing to get the goo off.

"Hey, that's my pudge!"
Still not sure where she learned that.

First Youth Baby Sitters
Asher and I went to a church party tonight. We have had grandparents and other close friends watch the girls but not young women. The young women did a great job. They played with Lilia the whole time. Elayna was held and enjoyed the attention. I left instructions for Lilia but was going to take Elayna with us. Well I changed my mind and left Elayna. The baby sitters had to call about making a bottle. No big deal I did forget to show them. We had a great time at the party. A big THANKS to our baby sitters!
Apple Pie
Lilia kept asking for "that". This is Lilia's first apple pie from Mcdonalds. She ate one bite and decide it was yuckie.

Got in but can't get out!
Lilia has been getting in the pack n' play with Elayna. She can not get out though. They love each other. I have put Lilia in time out but she keeps getting in to the pack n' play. This time I left her in awhile. She did not like that as much.

Elayna's First Tooth
I noticed Elayna had a tooth on bottom left when I had my finger in her mouth. What a fun surprise. She handled her first tooth really good, a little fussy.

Wall Quotes
Reading these quotes brought back fun memories. These are hanging around my parents house.
Quotes I saw as a teenager:
"The most important work you will ever do is within the walls of your own home."
"I love you to the core"
"My other home is immaculate"
"It's been a zoo lately"
"When you get to the end of your rope... tie a knot in it and Hang on!"
"My home is clean enough to be healthy and messy enough to be happy"
Quotes that came later (after I left the house):
"Dust is a country accent"
"Do you want to talk to the person in charge or the one who knows what's going on?"
"Out of my mind back in 5 minutes"
"The deadline for complaints was yesterday"
"To teach is to touch a life forever"
"Teachers affect eternity, one can never tell where their influence ends....."
"Weeds for sale pick your own"
"When obedience becomes a quest, it is no longer an irritation. Mary Ellen Smoot (Sept 2000)
"It is said that for money you can have everything, but you cannot. You can buy food, but not appetite; medicine, but not health; knowledge, but not wisdom; glitter, but not beauty; fun, but not joy; acquaintances, but not friends; servants, but not faithfulness; liesure, but not peace. You can have the husk of everything for money, but not the kernel." Arne Garborg (Readers Digest)
"In all of living have much of fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed not just endured." Gordon B. Hinckley
"This kitchen was perfectly clean yesterday...sorry you missed it!"

One of my Favorite Wild FL Flowers
This is called Phlox. Notice the sand, no soil here. You have to make soil to grow a garden in Florida. I would pick these flowers as a child.
