Wall Quotes

Reading these quotes brought back fun memories. These are hanging around my parents house.

Quotes I saw as a teenager:
"The most important work you will ever do is within the walls of your own home."

"I love you to the core"

"My other home is immaculate"

"It's been a zoo lately"

"When you get to the end of your rope... tie a knot in it and Hang on!"

"My home is clean enough to be healthy and messy enough to be happy"

Quotes that came later (after I left the house):
"Dust is a country accent"

"Do you want to talk to the person in charge or the one who knows what's going on?"

"Out of my mind back in 5 minutes"

"The deadline for complaints was yesterday"

"To teach is to touch a life forever"

"Teachers affect eternity, one can never tell where their influence ends....."

"Weeds for sale pick your own"

"When obedience becomes a quest, it is no longer an irritation. Mary Ellen Smoot (Sept 2000)

"It is said that for money you can have everything, but you cannot. You can buy food, but not appetite; medicine, but not health; knowledge, but not wisdom; glitter, but not beauty; fun, but not joy; acquaintances, but not friends; servants, but not faithfulness; liesure, but not peace. You can have the husk of everything for money, but not the kernel." Arne Garborg (Readers Digest)

"In all of living have much of fun and laughter. Life is to be enjoyed not just endured." Gordon B. Hinckley

"This kitchen was perfectly clean yesterday...sorry you missed it!"
